Mélange d’agrumes F base Shave Soap creates a nice light feeling lather that provides great cushion, slickness, and post-shave. Like most ETHOS Grooming Essential products, the soap contains our proprietary EOS Complex, which means Earth • Ocean • Science. This unique Mélange of 36 luxurious, exotic, and beneficial skincare ingredients along with ingredients such as Ostrich Oil, Hyaluronic Acid Oil , Mango Powder Fruit Extract, Sheep's Milk, Butters, and Oils will enhance the overall condition and feel of the skin with continuous use. The Aroma Blend is made up of Citrus Essential Oils of Ruby Red Grapefruit, Yuzu, and May Chang, which provides a bright, fresh, and clean citrus aroma that will pick your spirits up. The 7.5 oz shave soap comes with a 12 ml dropper bottle of the pure Aroma Blend, so you can increase the strength of the aroma by adding a couple of drops to your lather.
Usage
Ethos Shave Soaps are easy to lather, and just a small amount is needed to bring you a rich yogurt-like. Often described as feeling light on the face, the lather tends to be a little thirsty so add water a little at a time until the desired lather is achieved. Our shave soaps work well using all types of shaving brushes. We recommend scoping out some shave soap from the jar and bowl lathering. This F Base is firm enough to load from the jar as we realize it's a very popular of loading a Shave Brush. We would like to inform our customers that If you choose to load directly from the jar we recommend starting with a damp brush and turn the jar completely upside down. This avoids adding an unnecessary amount of water to the shave soap jar which in our opinion is counterproductive to our curing process where we try to eliminate as much of the water/moisture out of our soaps as possible. Then begin to swirl your brush tips very lightly until loaded. Apply to a wet face, swirl the brush for about 30 seconds and then begin to paint the lather on painting WTG, XTG, and ATG until you get a nice, non-translucent dense coating of rich, creamy lather for optimum shave results.
