The water-based Pineapple Infusion and Pineapple Distillate bring a fresh, clean expression of the scent into the lather of this shave soap base with its blend of high-quality butters and organic oils and the tallows of Duck Fat, grass-fed Beef and Bison Tallow. The skin-beneficial ingredients, including niacinamide, ceramides, collagen protein, hyaluronic acid, and the EOS Complex, help to create our post-shave feel that truly stands apart—leaving skin hydrated, smooth, and revitalized long after the shave.
Aroma Blend
At the heart of “Pineapple” is a Natural Pineapple Distillate, chosen for its bright, true-to-fruit character. It’s supported by two handcrafted infusions made from fresh pineapple chunks, capturing not just the sweetness but also the natural freshness, slight tartness, and juicy, golden vibrance of the fruit at its peak.
The aroma opens with a clean, sunlit tropical brightness—fresh and uplifting—then settles into a smoother, softly sweet warmth that remains natural and well-balanced without ever feeling heavy or artificial. The result is a true pineapple experience—radiant, refreshing, and quietly luxurious.
Usage
ETHOS Shave Soaps are easy to lather, and about half an almond-sized amount of soap for a three-pass shave is recommended if using a shaving bowl. You can easily load three passes' worth of lather out of the jar in 20 to 30 seconds. The soap takes a good amount of water but is not extremely thirsty. It’s not recommended to rinse the face completely between passes. Instead, just add a quick splash of water, work it around with some of the leftover lather, and then lather up for your next pass. A lot of painting the lather on after the initial swirling of the brush is suggested. This method will increase the slickness to a whole other level. This soap can be used with any natural hair or synthetic shaving brush. Everyone has their own method, have fun experimenting with this base to learn what works best for you.
